But why do we keep emailing you about it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, there are a lot of reasons. And we\u2019re obviously biased. But after sitting and pondering for a while, we\u2019ve narrowed down what makes HiberHilo different into three distinct categorie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1: It works anywhere in the world.&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>HiberHilo is high-tech. The system was designed by a combination of rocket scientists, satellite whiz kids, and O&amp;G veterans in Hiber\u2019s labs in the Netherlands. And the combination of brain power in these rooms created a satellite-based well monitoring solution that works anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means HiberHilo opens doors, everywhere. You can use it in the middle of the North Sea. Or in the middle of Nevada. Any well. Anywhere.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-e31b6213e10c1f7761b68d3545261fe1\" style=\"color:#1ef5f0;background-color:#002d3c;font-style:italic;font-weight:300\"><blockquote><p>\u201cO&amp;G companies should be able to focus on what they\u2019re best at: getting the materials we need to power the world. They don\u2019t need to become technology companies too.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2: It\u2019s affordable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though it uses satellites, HiberHilo is affordable. We purposefully designed the system to be cost-effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It doesn\u2019t use a lot of power.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>HiberHilo\u2019s default settings are optimised for power efficiency. The system doesn\u2019t beam up data 24\/7. Instead, it captures data on your well every 15 minutes, then transmits that data to the satellite once an hour. The rest of the time, the system is dormant (we like to call it \u201chibernating\u201d).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It captures only the most important data.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>HiberHilo doesn\u2019t measure every possible thing happening with&nbsp;your well, which would cost a lot of money. Instead, the system only captures a small amount of data, like the wellhead pressure and temperature, and ignores other&nbsp;factors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It\u2019s long-range.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Most satellite connections have a sensor-to-gateway connection limit of about 250 metres, if we\u2019re being generous. Which is pretty impractical, if you\u2019ve got a well that\u2019s 252 metres away from the gateway, and need to hook up another expensive gateway just to get the data you need. HiberHilo gives you a range of 8&nbsp;kilometres\/ 5 miles from the gateway, and you can connect as many as 100 sensors to a single gateway. It\u2019s designed to be practical.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It\u2019s subscription-based.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>HiberHilo offers both subscription-based and equipment purchase options. With our subscription model, you pay a monthly fee for the service while we lease the equipment to you, eliminating the need for upfront investment. This approach spreads costs and prevents the purchase of depreciating assets, keeping your P&amp;L sheet balanced with all expenses classified as operating expenditure. Alternatively, if you prefer ownership, you can purchase the equipment outright. Whichever path you choose, rest assured it&#8217;s a step towards financial prudence. So, why wait? Take control of your connectivity needs and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for a wise business decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3: It\u2019s easy to use.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s a bit of a *bold* statement for the world of wellhead monitoring: we think it should be easy to keep track of your wells, even if they\u2019re in remote areas of the world. O&amp;G companies should be able to focus on what they\u2019re best at: getting the materials we need to power the world. They don\u2019t need to become technology companies too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why we designed HiberHilo as an end-to-end solution. There isn\u2019t any complicated IT infrastructure needed. It\u2019s plug-and-play. Takes a few minutes to set up. And is completely fuss-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t have to source parts from a thousand different places (we did that for you). And if something goes wrong, you don\u2019t have to waste hours figuring out which part of the Rube Goldberg machine is broken.
