HiberHilo\u2019s end-to-end IoT system has been trusted by leading upstream operators to make well monitoring safer, more efficient, and data-driven since its launch in October 2020. Based on satellite technology, the solution empowers oil and gas companies to measure real-time well temperature and pressure on unconnected wells in offshore locations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shell has since installed the HiberHilo IoT remote well monitoring system at operations in the North Sea. The aim is to reduce the amount of travel required to and from remote wells. The solution enables Shell&#8217;s internal teams to access more high quality data on their well performance and to monitor well integrity issues more effectively, thereby improving the safety and efficiency of remote and offshore sites.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter testing HiberHilo, the opportunity was clear,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said Ian Taylor, Global Principal Technical Expert for well integrity at Shell<\/strong>.
